&lt;p&gt;In Thailandia la strada è vita. Per strada si lavora, si vende, si compra, si produce, si mangia. Qualche volta, anche, si dorme. O si fa il bagnetto a un bambino.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Ma soprattutto si mangia. A ogni ora, poco e spesso. Nei mercati, o nelle vie consacrate allo scopo (e poco importa se a 10 cm dal tuo tavolo c’è il traffico umano e veicolare di una metropoli del Sud Est asiatico).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;È un mangiare che fa rima con l’andare (e infatti anche il treno, di terza classe, o il bus di linea, sono luoghi dove si compra e si consuma cibo, in continuazione).&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I thailandesi sono pazzi per il cibo: non potrebbe essere altrimenti, la loro cucina è strepitosa e la varietà dei ingredienti paragonabile alla nostra. Solo che è tutto diverso, perché, anche questo, è un altro mondo. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Come per tutto il resto, in Thailandia, il mio consiglio di viaggio è di lasciarsi guidare dalla curiosità: seguire il proprio naso, vedere come si muovono i locali. E passare, con nonchalance, dalla bancarella al ristorante lussuoso.
